ANNOUNCING MR. KUSHAN SHARMA’S APPOINTMENT AS CEO OF TechCERT

TechCERT’s Board of Directors has appointed Mr. Kushan Sharma as Chief Executive Officer, succeeding Mr. Dileepa Lathsara, who is concluding his tenure as CEO after more than eight years of leadership and over 18 years of dedicated service. Mr. Lathsara has been pivotal in establishing the company’s market-leading position and cultivating an enviable reputation in a highly competitive industry.

Mr. Sharma, who joined TechCERT in 2009 and has served as Chief Operating Officer, brings more than 15 years of expertise as a Senior Information Security Engineer, Manager, and Consultant. He has consistently demonstrated technical excellence and a results-oriented approach across diverse sectors. He possesses comprehensive expertise in cybersecurity strategy, network and cloud security configuration, vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, SWIFT framework evaluations, and web/mobile as well as operating systems security assessments. He is also skilled in IT risk assessments, security policy reviews, ISO 27001 implementation, ISMS auditing, cybersecurity drills, and other security trainings. In addition to his technical prowess, he is a dynamic leader who cultivates a culture of innovation and accountability, consistently driving his teams to excel in challenging security environments.
